We recommend installing new supply tubes whenever you install new BBI injectors. These supply tubes have an edge filter inside which has the function of breaking all particles greater than 50µm into smaller pieces to avoid catastrophic injector failures. Over a lifetime, the edge filters may have abrasive wear-causing particles that are over 50µm which can get into the injector. Also, the sealing cone on the tip of the supply tube can show some wear over multiple assembling processes. This can lead to leakage between the injector and the supply tube, so it is always worthwhile adding supply tubes to your injector's purchase.
