2017-2019 Duramax Emissions On Banks Power Package
If you're looking to add some extra power without voiding the warranty, these are the parts you want!
Testing
We tested the S&B kit on our dyno on a bone stock 2017 L5P and found a 10hp/20ft-lb gain with the S&B intake, then we added the Derringer and we found an additional 60hp/110ft-lb making a total of 449hp/958ft-lb!
Banks is just as thorough when it comes to testing and found that the Intake Kit alone will give you a 20hp gain. Once you add the Derringer you will gain a total of 81hp.
The GEN2 Derringer is a plug-and-play solution for the L5P Duramax. It connects to your truck via the OBDII port and gives you 6 different power levels to choose from and has ActiveSafety to protect your engine. The Derringer doesn't write anything on your ECU, it only adapts the parameters to safely make more power. This means the tuner is untraceable by the dealer and will not void your warranty.
