2017-2019 Duramax Emissions On Banks Power Package
If you're looking to add some extra power without voiding the warranty, these are the parts you want!
Testing
We tested the S&B kit on our dyno on a bone stock 2017 L5P and found a 10hp/20ft-lb gain with the S&B intake, then we added the Derringer and we saw an additional 60hp/110ft-lb making a total of 449hp/958ft-lb!
Banks is just as thorough when it comes to testing, and it was found that the intake kit alone will give you a 20hp gain. Once you add the Derringer you will gain a total of 81hp.
The Derringer is dyno-calibrated to use multiple data inputs, such as throttle position, rpm, vehicle speed, AFP, knock, coolant temperature, and EGT, just like your engine's ECM. Thanks to its OBD-II connectivity, it actively and safely optimizes calibrations in real time while providing huge performance gains.
The 'Active Safety' feature gives you peace of mind by keeping your factory ECM safe, temperatures under control, and transmission safe, this feature has a mechanical fail-safe measure to revert to stock in the case of failure

Adding an intake isn't about power, it's about reducing the restriction, increasing efficiency, while maintaining strict filtration standards. These kits are offered with a Oil Cleanable Filter and Dry Disposable.
The Oiled Filter is recommended for those that mainly use their trucks for City or Highway driving and would rather clean their filter instead of replacing it.
The Dry Disposable is a better option if your truck frequently sees dusty environments or you'd rather toss out your filter instead of cleaning it.
