Since the 1990's Valair has concentrated on rebuilding Clutch assemblies for HD trucks, and agriculture, come 2004, they garnered an interest in expanding their line to accommodate high horsepower diesels, not too long after their initial 2-year R&D phase they were already building clutches that were capable of withstanding 2250 ft. lbs torque. Through more testing & development, they released a clutch that was still high quality, at a reasonable price for all driving applications.
In 2006, Valair's ‘Performance Series Clutches’ were marketed to the diesel truck enthusiast who wanted a quality high performance clutch at a reasonable price. All of these clutches are assembled in Mineral Wells Texas from the highest quality parts available. These high performance clutches are now being sold all over the World.
Valair Expanded in the fall of 2012 and constructed a second facility on 90 acres in Mineral Wells, Texas. During this time, they began offering premium automatic transmission and Drive Line parts such as Spools, Lockers, Gears, Bearing Kits, 300M Axle Shafts, Torque Converters, Billet Shafts, and Flex Plates.
