The X4 is the next generation in-vehicle PCM tuning and Performance Tune. Improvement in size, speed, versatility, and tuning capability all in one awesome device.

The SCT X4 tuner has a very large 2.6″ x 5.5″ full-colour LCD screen that makes the X4’s tuning much easier to read. Much like newer smartphones, the screen is larger, but the device itself is more compact than its predecessor. The SCT 7015 X4 Power Flash Programmer provides your 99-19 Ford 7.3L/6.0L/6.4L/6.7L Powerstroke with pre-loaded, dyno-proven power! From the factory, your vehicle's computer is calibrated for the masses, designed with the average driver in mind, not the performance enthusiast. 

Programming your vehicle with one of SCT's pre-loaded tune files is as easy as 1-2-3. Simply plug the OBD-II connector into the truck's OBD-II port, select the pre-loaded tune files using the simple to navigate menu and in just a few minutes the X4 programs your truck for your particular driving style.

Notes

This device does not come with any pre-loaded tuning for 1996-1999 Ford Powerstrokes. Tunes will need to be purchased from an SCT Custom Tuner (scroll down to view the offered custom tune files). Custom Tune files are available for 1999+ Powerstrokes only.

  • How much horse will this add to a 2011 6.7

    It will come with 3 pre-loaded tunes:

    • Tow/Economy: +25 to 36HP
    • Street/Performance: +75HP to 88HP
    • Extreme Tune: Up to +12-HP

    Or you can opt for custom delete tuning! Check out the Notes Tab for more info!

  • Who produces the tunes?

    This will just be an SCT tuning device, with canned tunes" made by their company.

  • Will this work with the egr unplugged?

    This device does not come with any pre-loaded tuning for 96-99 Powerstrokes. You will need to purchase delete tunes from an SCT custom tuner to work with the EGR unplugged.

  • Will this tuner work with a 2017 6.7 Powerstroke that has been deleted already?

    Yes it works with deleted trucks.

  • I have a 2019 ford f-650 super duty eith the 6.7. It is a garbage truck. Will this tuner work for it. It is completely stock.

    You would want to go this route -> 2011-2019 Powerstroke AMDP Tuned EZ Lynk with this add on -> 2016-2020 F-650/F-750 Powerstroke AMDP Support Package.

  • Does it come with some tunes pre loaded on it for 1999 7.3

    Yes! Primarily performance enhanced tunes but you can load custom tunes onto the device as well.

  • Truck has no tuner and only has pre loaded delete files previously installed before I purchased the truck. Can I pull existing delete tune from truck and send to you guys using just this tuner? Or do I need a specific cable and program on my laptop to do that…? Correct me if I’m wrong but once you guys receive the baseline file that’s currently in the vehicle, and a list of known upgrades on the vehicle, you can arrange to send tune files back to me that can then be loaded into tuner/truck….? Only reason for asking is how far I am from your shop or any other shop for that matter…. Need to be doing this on my own.

    Unfortuneatly this device only comes with the pre loaded emmisions on files, it does not have the ability to pull out the current file on the truck. It can re-write the truck back to stock which will erase the current file in your truck. To get a file we do not need a stock read, we only need the vin and some vehicle info. Then you would purchase a custom tune by amdp or ccs.

  • Does this tuner work with an egr still there? I don’t feel like deleting my egr. 2005 6.0

    This will work even with the EGR in place.

  • Does this come with tunes installed when I buy it for 02 7.3 Ford

    It does not come with pre-loaded tunes. You would need to purchase the tunes as well.

  • if i just buy the tuner it will have an emmisson delete for my 6.0 race truck?

    No

  • I have already bought these tunes for my 2014 6.7 I have sold the truck is there a way I can use the same Sctx4 with the custom tunes on my 2011 6.7

    You have to reach out to the SCT and pay for an unlock code, and then the tuner can be used again.

  • Can you turn the egr off with this programmer on a 6.0 powerstroke

    You would need a custom tune on it, and then you could.

  • DOES THIS WORK WITH 2017 CAB AND CHASSIS FORD 6.7

    This wouldn't be the best option for for C&C - I'd consider EZ Lynk or AMDP.

  • Will this work with the egr unplugged?

    If you order an emissions off-tune with it then that should work fine, although we usually recommend deleting the EGR as well.

  • I currently have a 2015 f150 ecoboost and I bought a sct x4 tuner for that. Looking to switch can you upload your tune files into that module so I don’t have to buy another?

    As long as its returned to stock, and the part number is 7015, we will just need the Serial Number of the device and the VIN of the truck and we can get some custom tunes coming for you!

  • do you guys carry the sct bdx (blue one) and are you able to ship it pre loaded with your 5 tune package for the 6.0L ?

    We do - however we need the ECU Strategy code from the vehicle before we can load the tunes onto the device.

  • What am I able to do with the tuner? 2007 f350 with egr delete but never been tuned.

    This will be for emissions on tuning only, however we can load a custom tune to cover the EGR delete for you from AMDP. Please see tuning options HERE.

  • Hey so I have to buy the tuner and files together for my 2015 6.7l and you will load them on the tuner? Just Trying to delete my DPF

  • I have some upgrades on the truck how would yall do a tune for that?

    Just need the list of mods and we will go from there! A tune revision may need to be done afterwards.

its listed 1996 and up 7.3 so I bought it and had it delivered to alberta . if you guys wouldn't have mis advertised , my trailer towing experience would have been great. as it happened, all i could do withit was clear codes. I almost got stranded just out of inuvik NWT . if this would have been what you advertised I woudl have been able to find my issue and solve . I was very disappointed in your listing, shame on me for believing advertised product by you.

1996-2019 Powerstroke SCT X4 POWERFLASH (7015)

worked well increased power, we needed to tap and die new bolts into the block due to the 8mm bolts that with heat and low torque could not keep from shearing, have over ordered and have the complete 2011-2018 Powerstroke 4" SS& DPF delete pipe (DDC-857nb) stainless. looking to return it ,what are my chances of refund ,shipping cost will be the main issue. clint

The tuning guys were great, they were very clear about the information needed for the custom tune. It's running better than ever. I recommend everyone switch, atleast from the old tuner I was using. Will definitely purchase from these guys again in the future when the need or want arises.

1996-2019 Powerstroke SCT X4 POWERFLASH (7015)

After using your time for a couple months I have this feedback 1) milage has improved by 25 to 30% from 8 to 9 mag to 11 to 12 mag 2) there is definitely more power 3) the transmission tune is very bad, massive pause between shifts, falls on its face doesn't respond to pedal input, not even close to stock settings as promised. 4) pedal response is inconsistent, overly sensitive then nothing, give it half throttle it goes to full throttle and backs off. Not good. 5) Tow haul mode is also inconsistent, sometimes it down shifts, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it holds gears sometimes no. Won't rev over 3k where in shock trim it went to 3400. So there you go
