2013-2018 Ram 1500 4WD 6"-3" Lift Kit (BDS671H)

BDS Suspension 6" Suspension Lift Kit for Dodge Ram 1500 4WD 1/2 Ton Pickup. This 6" lift kit is based around two one-pieces, 1/4" laser cut high-clearance crossmembers, and replacement steering knuckles to give you proper ground clearance, clean installation, off-road protection, and maintain proper steering angles. 

Tire & Wheel Combinations:

  • 37" x 12.50" w/ 17 x 9 and 4-1/2"
  • 37" x 12.50" w/ 18 or 20 x 9 and 5"

Notes:

  • The rack and pinion steering system are extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. The larger the tire and the less the backspacing, the more sensitive the system becomes, causing minor steering wheel shimmy.
  • Not recommended for AWD models.
  • Stock 17" wheels can not be re-installed. Stock 20" can be reinstalled with factory tire.
  • Will not fit adjustable air suspension-equipped models.
  • TRX models will achieve approximately 1" of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for use on the TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration caused by the additional lift. Instead, consider our 4" lift system for about 5" of lift or replace the TRX struts with standard struts for use with this system.
  • This kit is FMVSS No.126 Compliant.
  • This kit will bolt on Eco-Diesel models but it will require an aftermarket front driveshaft.

These vehicles vary from 1" to 3" tail high from the factory. We offer both a 3" rear kit as well as a 5" rear kit. Be sure to measure your vehicle and order the appropriate rear lift height to level your truck. You can also choose between the custom valved NX² series or the BDS by Fox 2.0 series gas-charged monotube rear shocks.

Improve ride quality and capability with the FOX 2.0 performance series IFP shocks. Specially designed for BDS lift systems, these FOX 2.0 aluminum body shocks offer improved cooling capacity and corrosion protection. These shocks use race-proven vehicle-specific valving along with an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design to separate the shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen to eliminate aeration and maximize performance on/off-road.

Upper Control Arms

Built from high strength 1-1/2" DOM tubing, fully welded for strength and durability. They use an indexed ball joint cup to correct the ball joint positioning when used with 2-3" leveling kits (#122253) or used on 4-6" suspension lifts (#122252). The frame mounting ends feature durometer-specific rubber bushings for long laster durability and reduced NVHs. At the other end, they utilize an indexed ball joint cup with premium quality MOOG ball joints for smooth, quiet operation and superior corrosion resistance to arms that feature uniballs, poly bushings, or heims. These control arms come finished in a durable semi-gloss black powder coat and include a billet aluminum machined ball joint dust cap that can be removed to easily service the greasable ball joints. They integrate a mounting tab for the factory ABS lines so there's no need to zip tie the lines as is the case with other kits on the market. The control arms come fully assembled for easy installation right out of the box compatible with most leveling and lift kits on the market to increase wheel travel.
