2011-2019 Duramax 2.5" Coilover Conversion Lift Kit (BDS723FDSC)
Convert the front of your Duramax to the control and strength of a Coilover setup while increasing your ride height by 2-3". BDS Suspension has introduced next-level technology in these lift kits for improved fade-free performance, strength, durability, and comfort over any terrain.
Tire & Wheel Combinations:
- 305/55R20 w/ 20 x 9 and 5"
- 35x12.50R20 w/ 20 x 9 and 5"
Notes:
- Minor metal trimming may be required with 35x12.50R20 on 20x9 w/5-5.5" BS
- Requires minor welding
- Coilovers are preset for DIESEL engine models. The use of the Coilovers on GAS engine models is not recommended due to providing too much lift. Available preload adjustment is typically not enough to achieve desired ride height.
- Factory 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled. Factory 20" wheels can be reused with stock tire size.
- Dually Models will require aftermarket 20" wheels with a max tire size of 285/60/
- Coilovers are preset to a 2" minimum lift height

This new skid plate kit was developed as an OE upgrade to work with our 2-3 inch Coil-over Conversion System for the 2011-18 Chevy 2500HD. The kit includes a replacement skid plate and a front splash guard. These are made from 10ga steel and are much stronger than the factory components. The plates bolt to the factory skid locations with the factory hardware making installation a breeze. The front splash guard includes a stainless steel BDS nameplate. Dimple die holes in the bottom skid add rigidity.

BDS RECOIL traction bars are built to the highest standards for the ultimate performance on and off-road. The bars are fabricated from 2" OD x 3/16" wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded in toward the axle and a CNC machined end at the frame. The axle mount uses the tried and true BDS large forged flex end and jam nut to take whatever abuse you throw at it. BDS forged flex ends use a forged housing with a large 1-1/4" -12 threaded shank, single-sided snap ring, and 1-piece flex ball for up to 15-degrees of misalignment in either direction. At the frame end, the bar uses a durometer-specific polyurethane bushing installed that free floats in the traction bar utilizing dual-stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings. Both ends are greaseable and rebuildable. Fully assembled the RECOIL traction bars are 60" long and mount to the vehicle using fabricated 1/4" steel brackets.

Traction Bar Mounting Kit
The frame brackets install by drilling mounting holes for the brackets while the axle brackets install using a set of u-bolts. The traction bars and mounting brackets use a durable gloss black powder coat finish.

The BDS spanner wrench for BDS Fox 2.5 Coil-overs features a unique design that uses a 1/2" ratchet or 1/2" breaker bar as the handle. Using a ratchet allows the spanner wrench to function in multiple positions making it much easier to use in tight IFS suspension setups. The spanner wrench is a pin-style design that is precision machined to fit in the Fox adjustment collar holes. This precise fit provides the best grip and reduces the chance of damage to the tool, adjustment collar, and your knuckles. The tool was designed for ease of use and includes user instructions.
