Description
Note: This requires custom tuning. This kit requires modification of the factory up-pipe or the use of DUR-EXH-A020 to make a complete kit. Please be sure to select the up-pipe add-on to complete your kit.
Please note that select colors are not regularly stocked. ETA: 2-3 weeks.  

The Dirty LLY-EGR-A007 EGR delete pipe allows you to remove the EGR cooler on your 6.6L LLY Duramax for a cleaner, simplified setup. This pipe features a precision-cut flange and a pre-bent locating tab to properly position the pipe and help ensure it stays secured once installed.

It includes one 1/8" NPT port for boost, water meth, or nitrous, along with a TIG-welded fitting for the MAP sensor and a coolant re-route hose to complete the job. Built for clean fitment and durability, this pipe is a straightforward solution for finishing an EGR upgrade on an LLY.

  • Do I need to powdercoat it if I take the raw option?

    You can leave it as is!

  • Is this a complete kit, or do I need the blocker plate for up pipe as well.

    This product requires an Up-Pipe for a full EGR "Upgrade".

  • Do you need to tune your truck if you are installing an egr delete?

    Yes.

  • Will this work on an lb7 with cali emissions

    No.

The fact that the bracket connection is to the thermostat housing and the inside of the pipe has no overlapping fittings, makes this one of the best pipes on the market

2004.5-2005 Duramax EGR Delete Pipe (LLY-EGR-A007)

Install was straight forward without instructions with a bit of thinking. First thing, the EGR cooler needs to be removed before this will fit. Second, the ear is supposed to go on the higher thread on the thermostat housing. Stock trucks will have a bracket threaded in there. Use that hole. Otherwise, very straight forward, fancy-looking, and when used in conjunction with the up-pipe, reduced average coolant temps by around 4°C.

2004.5-2005 Duramax EGR Delete Pipe (LLY-EGR-A007)

Supplied one of these to a customer with an LLY duramax, installation was straight forward until a bolt broke off in the turbo on removal.. purchased with the recommended up pipe for the passenger side. Would 100% recommend these products to any duramax customer of mine.
