Note: This service from HP Tuners is specifically for 2022–2024 RAM medium and heavy-duty trucks equipped with the CM2450B ECM and the 6.7L Cummins engine. Use of this service requires the latest version of VCM Suite BETA.

Get your 6.7L Cummins ready for tuning with the HP Tuners RAM CM2450B ECM Service. This one-time, send-in service upgrades your original CM2450B ECM, enabling full custom diagnostics and tuning support in VCM Suite and bringing professional-grade control to modern diesel platforms. Once upgraded, you have full access to calibrate, log, and scan via the OBDII port using an MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface. There is no need for an IMMO Relearn, Crank Relearn, or to perform the “Replace ECM” function in VCM Scanner, provided the ECM returns to the original vehicle.

This is a send-in service, which means you must first send us your original ECM. Please read this page in its entirety before purchasing.

*ECMs must be the original unit from the vehicle. Spare ECMs will not be accepted.

• This one-time, send-in RAM CM2450B ECM Service (upgrade service).
• Requires the 2018+ Dodge Smart Access Cable.
• Download the latest version of VCM Suite BETA for free.
• Once upgraded, purchase (6) Universal Credits to license your ECM.
• Compatible only with the MPVI3 and MPVI4 interfaces. Upgrade to MPVI4.

Transmission Support (Optional): Some supported vehicles equipped with the Aisin AS69RC transmission may also include the AS69RC_B TCM. Calibration access requires (4) additional Universal Credits per TCM.

Note: Universal Credits for licensing are not included in the cost of this upgrade service or any purchase. Credits must be purchased separately.

Process:

1. Confirm your vehicle’s support and purchase this upgrade service. Ensure you have an MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface and a 2018+ Dodge Smart Access Cable.
2. After placing your order, download and complete the shipping form (linked below). Place the form inside your shipping box.
3. Remove your ECM and package it safely with the completed shipping form.
4. Write your order number clearly on the outside of the shipping box.
5. Ship your ECM to HP Tuners using any carrier of your choice.
6. HP Tuners upgrades your ECM for tuning and diagnostics and ships it back to you.
7. Reinstall your upgraded ECM, purchase and apply Universal Credits, and begin tuning using your interface and VCM Suite BETA.

Shipping Details:

For American Customers: We will send a shipping form and your HP Tuners order numbers so you can send it directly to HP Tuners.

For Canadian Customers: We will cover shipping and provide a label so you can send it directly to HP Tuners.

Processing Time: Please allow up to 7 business days per ECM for processing once your module arrives at our location (i.e., 2 ECMs = up to 14 business days). This estimate does not include shipping times.

Note: Any hardware ordered with this product will be shipped along with your upgraded ECM. To avoid delays should you require other hardware soon, please order that hardware separately.

Once you receive your upgraded ECM, reinstall it into your vehicle. You must then license the ECM by purchasing 6 Universal Credits (sold separately). Once licensed, you can begin custom tuning using your MPVI3/MPVI4 interface and VCM Suite BETA. There is no need for an IMMO relearn, crank relearn, or “Replace ECM” function as long as the ECM returns to the same vehicle it came from. Upon reinstallation, we recommend connecting to the latest version of VCM Scanner and reading/clearing DTCs.

• This service is only compatible with HP Tuners MPVI3 and MPVI4 hardware. MPVI2 and MPVI2+ devices are not compatible.
• Security Warning: While the stock ECM is being serviced at HP Tuners, a spare ECM cannot be temporarily installed and relearned in the vehicle.
• No other tuning or calibration tools can be used with the ECM.
• Dealer diagnostic tools and VCM Scanner will continue to function normally.
• The latest version of VCM Suite can be used to return to stock calibration and/or update to the latest stock calibration.
• Universal Credits for licensing are not included and must be purchased separately.
