This part was promptly shipped. Install was quick and everything fits very well. The factory 17-19 intake is pitiful at best and from my research Banks is the best intake on the market for these trucks.

Banks Ram-Air Intakes start out as CAD software prototypes and are put through flow simulations and the design is refined until the simulation shows optimal performance. Then a hardware prototype is made and the design is validated on a flow bench, then dyno testing and on-vehicle testing. Banks 42210 cold-air intake with enclosed housing, huge inlet, and dome-shaped filter improves flow, increases power and fuel economy, reduces exhaust gas temps (EGT) and sooty, black smoke. The install is a bit tough. Second set of hands is nice. For the bolt underneath the intake tubing itself just save yourself the pain and get a ratchet wrench. makes life way easier. Very happy with the change over stock. The turbo sounds are more pronounced. Emissions on still. Highway travel I went from 12.8 average to 11.9 on the same road.
Top notch quality, easy to install and great fit, filter is huge, way better than the stock filter and easier to remove and re install the filter than other brands out there and was able to keep my battery in the stock location on my 2019 Powerstroke.
High quality piece, install was pretty easy. Notice a deeper tone to the intake sound, and slightly louder turbo whistle.
Fits good seems well built no extra sound and seems like boost comes up sooner as well
On line instructions are great they walk you right through all of it. It fit really well looks good
Mileage has dropped from 15.5 litres per 100 kms to10.8 litres per 100 kms, that’s based on same work commute over 500 kms Seems to have slightly quicker throttle response with more pep. Love it. Cheers
Couple things when installing, my truck has a small chunk of wiring harness not present in the banks install video or instructions. Their help department was very hands on though and called as soon as buisness days resumed walking me through my issues and reasoning that it should be alright with the intake OVER the wire as opposed to UNDER it. It DID take a bit of downpressure to get a couple of the battery tray bolts to line up but other than that the install was fairly easy.
Not shure about how much dirt it actually catches had a dusty offroad day and there was silt in the intake manifold
Install was easy, fitiment was a bit off but not a serious issue. Goes great with tunes and new exhaust for letting my truck breathe.
