Description
Industrial Injection race-spec 6.6L LB7 Duramax long block for 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500 and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500. A balanced and blue-printed sim-tested race long block — Carrillo billet connecting rods, 14mm Gorilla Girdle with ARP main studs, keyed alternate-firing billet camshaft, ATI Super Damper, and 5-axis CNC race-ported heads with ARP 625 studs.
The short block runs balanced and keyed stock Duramax crank, Carrillo billet rods, coated and chamfered de-lipped pistons, ATI Super Damper, Suncoast billet flexplate, new oil pump, water pump, oil cooler, and oil pickup tube. The 14mm Gorilla Girdle with ARP main studs locks the bottom end together.
The cylinder heads are reconditioned, milled and surfaced, fitted with torque-lock injector cups, 5-axis CNC race-ported and hand-blended, new diamond-honed valve guides, premium nickel-based non-magnetic valve seat inserts, new unshrouded valves with a multi-angle valve job, 130lb performance valve springs, and ARP 625 head studs on Duramax OEM head gaskets.

- Required: Joe Gibbs Break-In Oil (not included) for the first 300-500 miles after startup. All Industrial Injection short blocks and long blocks must be broken in on Joe Gibbs.

You could, but this engine is massively overbuilt for that specific scenario.
