Description

Industrial Injection Premium Stock Plus Long Block for 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L 24V Cummins. A fully assembled long block built for daily-driver and tow trucks that want a fresh engine with a few reliability upgrades over stock — not a performance build.

The short block runs a balanced and blue-printed rotating assembly with stock Cummins crank and ARP main bolts, stock Cummins rods with ARP rod bolts, coated and chamfered pistons, and the stock Cummins camshaft. Premium Killer Dowel Pin kit, new oil pump, water pump, oil cooler, oil pickup tube, and a Big Iron oil pan round out the bottom end.

The head is a reconditioned stock-port head with new diamond-honed valve guides, new stainless steel valves, new valve springs, Cummins OEM head gasket, milled and surfaced deck, and ARP 2000 head studs.

  • Required: Joe Gibbs Break-In Oil (not included) for the first 300-500 miles after startup. All Industrial Injection short blocks and long blocks must be broken in on Joe Gibbs.
  • Does not include valve cover, rockers, pushrods, or additional assembly gaskets.
  • Core deposit applies — includes the engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, camshaft, and cylinder head. Return the cores to recover the deposit.
