While there is always commentary and speculation about whether Catch Cans do what they are intended to, our engineers wouldn't bring anything to production if they didn't see a benefit to you or your vehicle.

Catch Cans, in a nutshell, work by intercepting and collecting oil vapors and contaminants before they go back into your engine. For something that looks simple, Catch Cans operate on fluid dynamics and gravity! (Science!) Strategically designed to change the velocity and direction of incoming gases. They act as a defense between your crankcase and intake, removing contaminants that can compromise engine performance; this, in turn, keeps your engine healthy, increases longevity, and keeps it free of build-up.

How do you know if you need a catch can? Simple! Pull your intake off the front of your turbo. If you see oil residue on your turbo compressor wheel, you should consider installing a catch can. It is important to inspect, clean, and drain catch cans regularly!
