This Kryptonite Inner Spindle O-Ring is a direct replacement for your current GM part. Their O-Ring is meant to provide a barrier to protect the wheel bearing and axle from internal corrosion
Kryptonite recommends replacing this with every Wheel Bearing replacement as it is easy to reach and will prevent corrosion on your new bearings. Lightly grease before installation.
These bolts are notorious for wear and rust. Kryptonite always recommends replacing these when changing your Wheel Bearings for easy access. They are zinc plated to prevent oxidation.
