Notes
  • It is preferred to add Stiction Eliminator at a fresh oil change, however, if added before please make sure the overall oil level does not exceed oil fill level.

  • So how exactly do i use it before or after and oil change or how?

    You should add it during a fresh oil change, so that it stays in your engine for the entire life of that oil cycle.

  • Is this product okay for a 2012 Mercedes ML 350 Bluetec diesel with 90,000 km? How much do I use at oil change?

    This product would be a great option for your ML! The treatment ratio is as follows, Initial dose: 4oz. Per quart of oil. Maintenance dose: 2oz. Per quart of oil.

    For your ML's next oil change (8.5 quarts of oil) you would want to put the entire bottle in at the time of servicing.

Hot Shot's Secret Stiction Eliminator (HSS16Z)

I operate a diesel shop and have been able to release ticking lifters in the newer 6.7 Cummins and Duramax using the Stiction eliminator. added to a detergent rich oil like the Rot-6 and filter filled with the good green juice, normally when catched early, in about 4-6 hours the ticking is no longer. Please do pull the remaining oil below plug level if you are to be serious about additives.

Hotshots secrets products never disappoint and are always far better than the competition with less product needed. Stiction eliminator even on my new 21’ Cummins with only 15,000km’s on made a noticeable difference in startup and smoother idle. I also have noticed a faster spool up in turbo. I have tried everything out there for fuel additives and hotshots are always far and away the best and always a noticeable difference. No different with this product.
