If you're running one of Edge's color monitors (CTS2, CTS3 or CTS4) in your diesel truck, you can monitor a plethora of different engine and powertrain vitals. However, without this optional EGT probe, you are missing out on the most important thing to watch: your exhaust gas temperature (EGT).
This probe is designed to work with Edge's exclusive EAS (Expandable Accessory System) to allow you to daisy chain multiple sensors if need be. Otherwise, this sensor works perfectly as a stand-alone with your existing monitor. Built with a 15" lead, if the need arises, you can easily replace only the probe without replacing the entire harness down the road.

pretty decent to install on the 2012 f350, great to know the EGT temps!! I installed it across the fire wall, seems to keep it clean (or "DIRTY") for the ol diesel. The only thing I could say for down fall is the cord for prope to sensor EAS system, is kinda short. Other than that its working great!
Already had the CTS2 monitor and this allowed me to read EGTs in my 6.7 Powerstroke. Installation was easy, very happy to be able to see what temps Im running at.
Super easy install with the egr delete caps, if edge system doesn’t acknowledge the EAS just unplug and plug back in took me two beers to figure that out
Very easy installation, just had to drill and tap a hole on passenger side exhaust manifold for 2008 LMM Duramax. You can really tell it is a quality product. Really nice to see these temperatures, make sure everything is working the way it should. Thanks Dirty Diesel!
dealing with DD was great, shipment was quick, installation was quicker. this Edge CTS 3 is installed in a 2017 F250 6.7 powerstroke. and took 1/2 hour to install and quick set-up.
Note the 2017 f250 has four on-board EGT sensors, 2 per bank, so in my opinion no need for EAS EGT sensor. I would recommend this monitor, and i would highly recommend Dirty Diesel.
Works awesome. Super easy install as my EGR block off plate on the manifold was already drilled and tapped for 1/8 NPT. Great for towing and piece of mind.
Didn’t have a photo of it. Install was a little tough as I had to tap into the manifold. Was really hoping to not strip it out. Got it in and I’m so happy I did! I now don’t have to worry about wondering what my EGT’s are at!
