There's not really a noticeable difference in sound of the turbo to the driver. But there is noticeable better throttle response and more power

Wow, the throotle lag is reduced by at least 50% with the CIA Banks. I love it, it makes the Tacoma Manual fun to drive, it's not falling on it's nose at every shift like it does before. I don't feel the advertised HP gain but the throotle response is so much better. I recommand it !

Easy install and great product, I extensively researched all the performance intakes for the 4th gen Tacoma and the Banks unit is the best in the industry. I’m glad to have a Canadian company that sells Banks products with predictable pricing and no worries about duties or other charges.

Fit well, you have to fully set the rubber coupling by the MAF tightly or it may be slightly to tall for the hood to properly latch. Goes together quick and great quality !

Perfect fit, was hoping for a little more turbo sounds but probably for the best that it’s not too crazy. Took an age to get to me as well, but I got a free Dirty Diesel Customs hat for the wait. It’s a pretty sweet hat, girlfriend noticed it right away and couldn’t keep her hands off me. Could say it’s my lucky hat. Please see the full review of the hat below.
