2024-2026 Duramax L5P AMDP RTD4 Custom Tune File

Upgrade your 2024-2026 L5P Duramax with these custom tune files. These are the custom calibrations you need to deliver serious power gains and a sharper, more responsive throttle. Designed for off-road and race applications, these tunes are built to give you a better-running truck with up to +150 HP.

Note: This package is tunes only. You’ll need an RTD4 or MPVI4, click here for the device. MPVI2 and MPVI3 can’t be used on this truck. You will also need 8 tune credits, click here for credits.

Tuning is delivered through the HP Tuners TDN app. Your stock read goes to your tuner in the app and your tune file comes back the same way. After the stock read uploads, email tunes@dirtydieselcustoms.com with your order number as the subject line to let the tuners know your stock read has been uploaded. Most tune files are received back the same business day.

Power Levels

• Level 1: 30 HP over stock. Ideal for improved fuel efficiency and light towing.

• Level 2: 60 HP over stock. Enhanced power for moderate towing and daily performance.

• Level 3: 90 HP over stock. Balanced for aggressive driving and light towing.

• Level 4: 120 HP over stock. High-performance tune for demanding street driving.

• Level 5: 150 HP over stock. Maximum power for extreme performance and racing applications.

SOTF (Steering Wheel Controls)

Choose the SOTF option to shift on the fly between all five power levels using your factory steering wheel controls. No extra switch is needed.

• Open tune selection: Hold cruise cancel for 1.5 seconds.

• Pick your level: Use cruise plus or cruise minus to move between tunes. Tap cancel or wait 6 seconds to close the menu.

• Smoke control (LBF): Outside tune selection, hold cruise cancel for 3 seconds to switch. Gray is standard fueling and green is LBF.

• Rumble or Hiss: Outside tune selection, hold cruise up for 3 seconds to switch. You will see 10 or 20 flash and hear the exhaust note change.

• Settings stay saved: Your tune, LBF and Rumble or Hiss choices stay set until you change them.

• Hide the display: Hold cruise cancel for 5 seconds. Your tune stays locked in. Hold cancel for 1.5 seconds to show it again.

• Cruise control note: On trucks without adaptive cruise, hide the tune display to see your cruise set speed. With adaptive cruise, the number may flash after you turn cruise off, and it resets the next time you open tune selection.

Idle and Fueling Options

• Rumble or Hiss idle: Rumble holds the turbo vanes open at idle for a deep diesel rumble. Hiss closes the vanes at idle for that turbo hiss and quicker spool off idle.

• Standard or LBF fueling: Standard fueling is recommended for daily driving and towing. LBF (low boost fueling) adds fuel at lower RPM and boost for more low end power and will smoke more.

• How to choose: No extra cost. Want Hiss or LBF? Just add it to your order notes. If nothing is noted, your tune is built with Rumble and Standard fueling.

• Five distinct power levels, from stock to +150 HP.

• Optional SOTF lets you shift on the fly between all five power levels from your factory steering wheel controls, no extra switch needed.

• Provides smoother power, a sharper throttle response, and improved engine efficiency.

• Removes the factory speed limiter where permitted.

Requirements:

• The ECM must be unlocked by HP Tuners through their send-in service (service and unlock are NOT included in this package). Do not attempt to pair a second ECM and drive the vehicle while the original ECM is sent in.

• An HP Tuners RTD4 or MPVI4 device and 8 credits are required (device and credits are NOT included).

• A Windows-based computer and a smartphone are required for tune installation and management.

• Keep all factory emissions equipment installed until the truck has been tuned.
