This service is only for 2024-2026 L5P Duramax trucks with the E42 ECM. 

To start tuning your 2024-2026 L5P Duramax, you need this service. This is a one-time, send-in service that upgrades your original E42 ECM for custom tuning with HP Tuners’ VCM Suite. It’s the required first step to safely unlock your truck's true potential.

Heads up

• The E42 ECM is locked from the factory, so it must be unlocked through this service before a stock read can be pulled or any tuning done.
• This is a send-in service. You must send your ORIGINAL ECM from your vehicle; spare ECMs will not be accepted. ECMs with broken locking tabs or connectors will also be rejected.
• Please allow for 2 weeks turn around time for completion with transit times and high upgrade volume at HP Tuners.

• A one-time, send-in service is required to upgrade your E42 ECM.
• Unlocks custom tuning and diagnostics for your 2024-2025 L5P Duramax using HP Tuners VCM Suite.
• Allows tuning via the OBDII port with an RTD4 and VCM Suite.
• Upgraded ECM maintains functionality with VCM Scanner and other diagnostic tools.
• VCM Suite can be used to return your truck to stock calibration.

Process & Timing: After purchase, you will receive an email with a shipping form and address. Remove your ECM and ship it to HP Tuners.

Shipping Details:

For American Customers: We will send a shipping form and your HP Tuners order numbers so you can send it directly to HP Tuners.

For Canadian Customers: We will cover shipping and provide a label so you can send it directly to HP Tuners.

Processing Time: Please allow up to 7 business days per ECM for processing once your module arrives at our location (i.e., 2 ECMs = up to 14 business days). This estimate does not include shipping times.

Note: Any hardware ordered with this product will be shipped along with your upgraded ECM. To avoid delays should you require other hardware soon, please order that hardware separately.
