Beginning in mid-2023, GM separated the MAP sensor into two sensors: a manifold temperature sensor located in the former MAP sensor position and a pressure sensor located in a new lower position. Check to ensure you have two sensors locateed on the cast aluminum intake manifold. See Photo.

Your engine’s EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and PCV (Positive Crank Case Ventilation) systems draw unburnt exhaust gases and oil vapor into the combustion chambers to lower combustion temperature, reduce NOx, and keep harmful gases from entering the atmosphere.
