The BOD Bypass Cable for the Dodge Ram is a must-have for any 18+ Cummins. It allows you to bypass the Security Gateway Module and works in multiple ways for multiple platforms.
Whether you are using EFI Live or HP Tuners, you’ll need it to flash a Tune into your 6.7L. Once you install this in your truck, your OBD-II will still function normally and you can use CSP5 or MVP (SOTF) Tunes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While this cable is required for all 2018+ models, 2022-2024 trucks also require an unlocked ECM swap to enable flashing.

My only complaint with this product is the instructions weren’t clear for which starlink connector to plug this into. So my first choice didn’t work, however after looking at the examples of pictures in the instructions I decided to move it over to the first block and all is good! I dabble in the alphaOBD and this worked immediately for me once I got it plugged in the right spot!
Every instructions online list a yellow and tan wire, this came with yellow and green wires. Just replace the tan with green when you follow the instructions and you’re good to go!
Simple easy install
Dirty Diesel sent the wire harness as trying to repair a failed programming fault. The harness is for a Ram truck. Not a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Once we got the programming solved. It took us over 2 hours to figure our that this cable was messing with other modules in the vehicle and became corrupted. We also had to cut and splice into the DLC, as the attached pins didnt fit in the DLC connector.

This part worked but they forgot to mention that it has to be installed before you do the reflash in the software programming video, which caused me a bit of frustration. Then I found the instructions on the dirty diesel page, but it had a very important step for 19+ trucks that was hiding under a diffrent category “notes” all in all it worked but coulda saved myself probably 2 hours and a bit of frustration if installation instructions were clear.
The connections to put in the OBD2 connector were too short. I had to cut back the shrink wrap just to get enough length to put the wires in the connector. Other than that it worked as it should.

Does exactly what you need it to. Quality cable with the jacket and heat shrink protecting the wires unlike most on the market.
Looks great, clean install but can be a pain to put pins in the one connector. Rubber sheath was so long it was hard to push both pins in.
Heat shrink was a little to far toward the pins, had to shave it back to get the wires long enough to plug in. Product is solid and have used it several times though.
Parts were as described,had a little problem with bypass wires but the management were very helpful and guide me through process,clean simple and responsive, would definitely buy again from those guys
