It's all fine and dandy that Ford stuck that Powerhouse of a 6.7 under the hood of your Super Duty, and it's pretty sweet that they gave it an intercooler to make sure that it gets fed nice cold dense air, so it kind of sucks that they then put a failure-prone, small, restrictive pipes that feed air to the engine! This upgraded 3" aluminum mandrel bent piping is larger in diameter than the stock pipe, and it has smooth mandrel bends to increase airflow velocity for improved power and lower EGTs. The cold side charge pipe is also more durable than the OEM pipe, being made from 6061 Aluminum alloy, and it is connected with Sinister Diesel's 4-ply silicone boot that is rated up to 400 psi. This means you can finally feed that Powerstroke all the cold air and boost it deserves without worrying about it breaking down the road!
