Changing the Hot Side Tube on the L5P Duramax is something that every single truck on the road can benefit from. If you have basic knowledge this kit is for you as it requires no tuning.
The factory hot side on the L5P Duramax trucks is something that just doesn't work as it should and just doesn't hold up to the demands of the even stock application. All too often the hot side pipe fails and causes you to be down stranded on the side of the road or attempt to limp yourself home.
This Hot Side Tube is made from aluminized steel. This gives a lot more strength along with mandrel bends. The mandrel bends give the strongest and best shape to the bends and allows for the best flow and the least amount of turbulence. This Hot Side Tube is the easiest to install on the market today and requires no tuning either. Included in this kit are 5-ply, high-strength, silicone boots to replace weak and prone-to-fail factory boots. This means you will be worry-free and on the road longer.

- This only Fits the 2017-2019 L5P engines even though the Vin code is the same. This is due to small changes that were made in the engine bay. Please be sure you are ordering for the correct year truck.
Engine code is dictated by the 8th character of the VIN number. The 10th character is the year of the truck.
