If you're looking to maximize the reliability of your 2014-2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Dirty Diesel EGR Delete Kit is the essential solution. Designed specifically for the 3.0L EcoDiesel, this kit allows for the complete removal of the EGR cooler, decluttering your engine bay and permanently stopping oxygen-deprived exhaust gases from re-entering your intake.
Removing the EGR system results in increased low-end power, significantly lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), and a reduction in black smoke emissions. Most importantly, it eliminates the possibility of the EGR cooler cracking or failing, which is a common and costly issue on the 3.0L platform. This is a purposeful, shop-tested upgrade for any EcoDiesel owner chasing long-term engine health.

Ask a Question-
Hi, I removed the DPF and EGR in 2024. Now I want to remove the EGR cooler. Will I need to reprogram the ECU if I use your kit?
If your truck is currently running emissions-off tuning, you will be fine to install this delete kit.
-
will I need to reprogram the engine ECU once the delete has been completed and what will I need to do that?
Typically you would want to do the delete tunes first before doing the exhaust and other hard parts to make sure the truck is running properly before removal, for the jeeps its required to do a bench flash so you would need to send the ecm to us or bring the truck to be able to get the emissions off tunes.
thanks -
Will these fit a 2020 3rd gen ecodiesel?
No, these will not fit on the 3rd gen ecodiesel
-
Does the egr need to be completely removed or can you just run the block off plates?
You can run just the block off plates but would need to remove the exisiting DPF filter and cat from exhaust and preform the emissions off tune flash onto the ecm to be able to make it all work.
-
Do you have a full delete kit for a 2021 jlu diesel 3.0 and tuner?
we are in the early stages of packaged for the gen 3 jeeps, but we are able to do deletes on them, it would require ordering in the exhaust replacement and a bench flash for the emissions off tunes.
if you have any further questions email Chris@dirtydieselcustoms.com
thanks
