Note: Knurled bodies for radius-arm suspension models with oversized housing bores.

The Dynatrac Knurled HD Ball Joints are the definitive "last resort" fix for late-model Ram trucks where the axle housing bores have become enlarged or worn. If previous ball joint replacements have left your housing loose, these knurled bodies provide the oversized press-fit required to keep your steering assembly secure. This kit features the same patented Dynatrac engineering as the standard units: heat-treated billet bodies, military-spec stainless steel balls, and a fully rebuildable design that can be serviced while still on the vehicle. Restore your front-end stability and eliminate death wobble without the massive expense of a complete axle housing replacement.

Notes

  • Please note that installing knurled ball joint bodies permanently alters the end forging and knuckle bores, creating unrecoverable wear. Knurled bodies should only be used as a last resort. DynaTrac sells knurled versions to accommodate vehicles that previously had competitors' ball joints, which may have enlarged or worn the mounting location, and now are switching to Dynatrac.
