Requires: Edge Insight CS2/CTS2 Or CTS3

No longer do you need to worry about drilling a hole in your dash to install a shift-on-the-fly (SOTF) switch in your 2010-2018 Cummins! The EAS Shift-On-The-Fly accessory from Edge lets you change custom tunes* on the fly using the Insight monitor. Many companies use a voltage signal to change between their 5 tune levels when tuned with custom tuning software. Instead of drilling a hole in the dash, add the EAS SOTF accessory to an Insight monitor to control custom tunes* while driving down the road.

Part Number: 98652

Features

  • Control your custom tuning from the Insight CTS3
  • On-the-fly Power Level Control
  • Change levels with the touch of a button
  • Plug & Play Installation
  • Clean setup that replaces a manual mechanical switch
  • Uses Edge’s Expandable Accessory System (EAS)

Notes

  • The Cummins EAS accessory plugs into the CCV connector. It only controls tuning levels that change the voltage resistance through the CCV sensor. It does not change levels through the OBDII port like some other switches. Please verify with your custom tune provider that your tune is configured for CCV-based switching before purchase.
  • Custom tunes created by 3rd-party tuners and/or 3rd-party custom-tuning software have no affiliation, approval, or endorsement from Powerteq. Powerteq is not liable for tunes created by 3rd party companies.

Installation

  1. The EAS Shift-on-the-fly accessory, connected to your Insight, will control your tune levels for vehicles that require a switch to adjust power levels.
  2. Switching occurs by changing the voltage between 1v, 2v, 3v, 4v, and 5v. Most custom-tuned vehicles run within these parameters.
  3. Wire or plug the switch in just as you would your normal Shift-On-The-Fly (SOTF) or Driver-Selectable-Tuning (DST) switch.
  4. Flash the tune into your vehicle to enable the SOTF/DST functions, and enjoy changing levels on-screen!
