This Smeding S300 Turbocharger is a direct stock non-vgt replacement for the 2007.5-2018 Cummins. Since it has maintained its OE Geometry, this is a direct bolt-on replacement that utilizes all OEM connections to the vehicle. Now even though it still has the OE Geometry, you will receive benefits such as Reduced EGT's and Faster Spooling! To top it off, this has been designed to not require any additional fueling.

Cast vs Billet
When you go from cast to billet, you get a lighter wheel. A lighter wheel means there is less rotational mass on the shaft, therefore you have a faster spool up. Peak horsepower will stay the same but you will gain a little bit better driveability.
