The factory intake elbow on the 6.0L Powerstroke equipped 2005-2007 Ford Superduty trucks is a major choke point in the factory charge air system. The factory system features a sharp 90° turn and tapers down to and an internal diameter of 2.47". Just by simply replacing the factory intake elbow with a Pusher intake manifold nets a 65% gain of flow under the identical inlet pressure. This gain is accomplished by matching the factory pre and post intercooler charge tube's material of 3" mandrel-bent 16ga tubing. In order to produce optimal penetration without impacting airflow, Pusher fully TIG welded this system with precise settings and utilized 6061-T6 mandrel-bent tubing. It features a 1/2" thick flange that utilizes a new factory o-ring gasket as well as 2 1/8" NPT ports for a boost gauge reference or injectors.
Once you combine these features with Pusher's fine craftsmanship, you end up with an intake manifold that will decrease EGT's by 50°-200°F, Increased MPG by .5-1, increased throttle response, and gives you a faster turbo spool!
