2004.5-2007 Cummins Piston Kit (PDM-3673)

Drop-in replacement 24V piston kit for the 2004.5-2007 5.9L Cummins (Dodge Ram 2500/3500). Sold as a complete set of six standard-bore Mahle pistons including rings, wrist pins, and clips.

Optional PDM ceramic skirt coating carries loads in excess of 350,000 PSI and lubricates at temperatures over 1600F at a cured film thickness of .001 or less, which requires no change in piston clearance. Optional thermal-barrier coating on the piston tops is intended for engines running nitrous, supercharger, or turbocharger setups with high fuel volumes or compression. The performance/race pistons are chamfered to reduce swelling and cylinder-wall scuffing, and fly-cutting (.100 valve relief) is available to add piston-to-valve clearance for high-lift camshafts.
