Originally your injectors were rated to 61.8L/hr @ 100 bar of pressure, however, once big bang injection is done with it you'll have a 24% increase over stock (nozzle flow rate of 76.2L/H). These units are detuned to lower emissions and exhaust gas temperatures as they have a shorter injection duration with the same energizing time as the OEM injectors. This makes the .5 Stage injectors a great option for regular towing, all the while capable of supporting trucks up to 700rwhp. Staying true to their heritage and quality these injectors are hand-made.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Just wondering what the actual difference is between the BBI Stage 0.5 and stage 1.0 injectors. I have an 07 5.9 Dodge. Currently has a 63.5mm/67mm turbo, no tune and stock CP3. I dont have any actual power/torque goals in mind. It gets used on the farm for the odd bit of usual lighter duty towing so looking for some aid in that but also want something that rips pretty decent when I want to put the pedal down. Not opposed to injection pump upgrades in the future and planning for tuning down the road, just curious the difference between these injector sets Im looking at, and any advice or insight would alsp be apprrciated, thanks!

Stage 0.5 = safe, clean, mild gain, stock-friendly. Stage 1.0 = more power potential, needs tuning/Cp3 to shine. Your current turbo can support either but for future-proofing, Stage 1.0 is the better choice.
