All Powerstroke Tunes Include Transmission Tuning (TCM)

When comparing most tunes on the market, the peak power is often extremely similar, however, there is another factor that matters even more, which is the "usable power". This "usable power" is what Peakside Performance has optimized and was achieved by testing these tunes throughout various Canadian climates and conditions. PSP will supply you with Canadian-written, fast-spooling, hard-pulling, and great-shifting tunes that will let you enjoy your 6.0L for years to come. 

The SCT devices are one of the most cost-effective ways to get tuning on your 6.0L Powerstroke. These tunes will work on any SCT X4, SCT BDX, or SCT Livewire Tuning Device. Simply send us your VIN Number and the Serial Number of the SCT Device and we'll build the custom files for your truck.

We do not support lope tunes or smoke tunes.

Power Levels

  • HD 12k Tow (50HP): This tune is a little above stock power with increased driveability and spooling. This tune is meant for heavy hauling.
  • Tow (75HP): This tune is meant for the average person who is looking for more power without affecting drivability. This option is ideal to be used when towing and daily driving.
  • Street (100HP): This is similar to the race tuning but for non-studded trucks, or used as street tuning for studded trucks.
  • Performance (150HP): The flagship race tuning. This will deliver the most power, runs great on the street and can also be utilized by the avid track user. STUDDED TRUCKS ARE RECOMMENDED!
  • PSP Locked (150HP): This is Peaksides race tuning with an added early torque converter lockup. This is meant for racing on the track, or aggressive street driving.

Transmission Tuning

Peakside Performance Powerstroke tuning includes transmission tuning made specifically to pair with the various power levels. They will shift firm, but not jerky. Banging and slipping is not normal operation and should be addressed immediately for reliability and longevity.

Notes

  • A Transmission Relearn Period of 100-150km of mixed driving patterns should be completed after loading the tuning. Failure to do so can lead to premature transmission failure.

  • Will this work with a truck that has a egr cooler delete?

    Absolutely! Just specify that the truck has the EGR deleted when ordering the tune file.
