My Allison 1000 trans had a leak from the wiring harness area. Once i had the transfer case and crossmember removed, i had good visibility. The old (outer pass-thru) seal was half missing. I just wasn't sure that the inner harness "O-ring" wasn't also leaking. Anyway, using about a half-can of plastic-sensitive cleaner, i replaced the outer seal, and there are no leaks now. Thumbs Up to Dirty Diesel and Merchant Auto !
