How do you take the old stock adapter off?
Use a small flathead screwdriver or pick to compress the two locking tabs on the quick-disconnect collar and pull it off the firewall tube. Then, carefully cut or slice the permanent metal crimp ring on the rubber hose using side cutters to fully release the old plastic fitting.
