KC Turbos took inspiration from the latest turbochargers in the market and applied their turbine housing design, flow path, volute shape, and material density to come up with their own 0.91AR turbine housing. This turbine housing was proven to spool up faster AND make more top-end power when compared to either previous options.
The new turbo design outperforms anything else on the market, but it has also upgraded all weak points in the stock turbo, improving reliability at elevated HP levels, all in a drop-in package and a perfect match from stock to 205/30 injectors.

Will NOT fit OBS or e99 trucks without modification
- EXHAUST BRAKES: KC Turbos gets asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with KC Turbos. They have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close, which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aid in braking. It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.
- KC turbos are designed to fit directly in 7.3 equipped pick-up trucks. Although KC turbos can drop into 7.3 equipped Vans, you will need to modify the turbo intake boot and down-pipe for proper fitment.

This turbo exceeded my expectations I knew it would be good but it’s Awsome. Almost 200 deg drop in egt and starts making boost at 1500 rpm and will max out my 35 psi gauge in a split second no more falling on its face when it shifts into od. It’s louder then I expected I had the bd truster and I have the s&b intake the kc makes much more intake noise so I messaged kc and they got right back to me had me check a couple things but they did say you will know that it’s no stock turbo. So terrific product and excellent service If you pull with your truck this is the turbo you want hands down

Great upgrade over other turbo I had. Much smoother spool than old turbo. Very happy paired well with jellibuilt tunes

Huge difference over stock! spools faster and pulls harder. Plus it sounds great. You absolutely need to pair this with an S&B intake, stock box does not flow enough air.

Just finished my first 1000 km day after install: Unloaded.... Truck; 2002 F350, 4" lift, 35's, 4R100, 3.75 diffs, S&B intake, Hydra 80hp daily driver (the shift strategy works best for my truck and the way I drive), 4" turbo back exhaust, Stock Injectors. Route: Vancouver - Kamloops - Kelowna - Vancouver (I pointed it at every big hill I could find.) Speed: 110kmh (70mph) L/100km: 15.5 EGT's at 110kph on the 4-8% grades 950+- (under 1000 unless I got over excited and rolled into it) Boost: 12-14 psi +- constant Max Boost on trip 35psi after the road works currently on the Coquihalla. EGT's never got to 1200 Install: As with most 7.3 work its looks more intimidating than it actually is. The only annoying bits are the V clamps due to location against the firewall. (invest in a topside creeper if you don't already have one, best thing I ever bought for working on the truck) instructions are only vague when it come to connecting the red hose or not. I did not, I just blanked it. Verdict: Pro's: It performs, even on stock sticks, builds boost from about 1500 rpm when you roll into it. very little haze even on the 80hp tune Cons: Someone bolted a model jet engine to the back of my 7.3. I exaggerate but you know its not a stock turbo and so does everyone else... (i am just old and grumpy and no i don't want to race) Its here to stay though on performance alone and I would install it again.
