1998.5-2002 Cummins Performance Head (PDM-24VSTH)

Industrial Injection Performance Cylinder Head for 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L 24V Cummins. A CNC-ported and fire-ringed head for high-boost 24V applications, with upgraded valves, seats, springs, and a fire-ringed deck for added clamp.

Porting is performed on a 5-axis CNC cylinder head machine running CAD/CAM software dedicated to head porting. CNC porting balances flow port-to-port so each cylinder makes the same power. After CNC, each port is hand-blended. Heads start with magnaflux/pressure-test inspection on the bench, then receive new diamond-honed iron-based valve guides (heat-treated to Rockwell 22C, far harder than bronze), new stainless steel nitrate-coated valves, and premium nickel-based non-magnetic valve seats designed for extreme operating temps.

The deck is fire-ringed and milled for either MLS or traditional fire-ring head gaskets. Coolant freeze plugs are drilled and tapped with high-quality steel plugs in place of the factory press-in design. 95lb performance valve springs are USA-made and tested in-house for proper spring rate before assembly.
