The Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber 24-191203 is built to maximize the ride quality in your truck. It also offers you the correct length of shock for whatever lift you may have. Loaded or Unloaded, the Bilstein 5100 shocks offer increased driveability, stability, and control on the street or the trails.

After installing I was thinking to myself.. man that finish is gonna corrode.. looking at reviews on the internet I realize it definitely will.. so off they come to give them a shot of clear coat.. this should be done at the factory to protect the metallic finish.

1994-2013 Cummins/Duramax Bilstein 5100 Rear Shock 0-2" (24-191203)

Fit a stock 2012 D3500 perfectly. Appear well built, giving 4star as not yet proven (just put on). Old shocks had 75k kms and needed to be replaced. Bilstein has been reliable for me in the past. I find the finish on Bilstein holds up well.

Bought these as replacements for my worn out stock shocks. Crazy how much of a difference it made. Definitely worth the buy. Took the advice of another review and coated them with clear coat before installing. About 10k on them and they still feel and look great
