3) Once we receive the Core here at the shop, it will be inspected to ensure that it is rebuildable. After the inspection is passed, your core charge will then be refunded (giving you more money for truck parts!).

Dirty Diesel Customs does not cover return shipping costs for core items. You are responsible for all shipping expenses associated with returning their core.

Description

Industrial Injection's Premium Stock Performance Builder Box for 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L 12V Cummins. An unassembled short-block kit shipped to your door — everything you need to bolt together a premium stock-plus short block at home, with upgraded internals over a standard rebuild without paying the labor on full assembly.

The block is machined on a plateau honer with a torque plate installed and finished to blue-print spec. Crankshaft is machine-balanced, the kit ships with ARP main and rod studs, coated H-series main and rod bearings, the Premium Killer Dowel Pin (KDP) Repair Kit (249B01), new cam bearings, new Cummins oil cooler, new Cummins oil pump, new Cummins tappets, and the Cummins lower engine gasket kit. The "Premium Stock Plus" spec is a step above a standard stock rebuild — same OE-grade displacement and rotating assembly, but with the upgraded bearings, KDP fix, and ARP fasteners pre-built into the box.

Required: Joe Gibbs Break-In Oil (not included) for the first 300-500 miles after startup. All Industrial Injection short blocks and long blocks must be broken in on Joe Gibbs.
Core deposit applies — includes the engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, camshaft, and builder box crate. Return the cores to recover the deposit.
