Description

Industrial Injection's Performance Stage 1 Builder Box for 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L 12V Cummins. An unassembled short-block kit shipped to your door — everything you need to bolt together a performance short block yourself, without paying the labor on full assembly.

The block is machined on a plateau honer with a torque plate installed and finished to blue-print spec. Crankshaft is machine-balanced, connecting rods are machine-balanced and come with ARP rod bolts, pistons are machine-balanced + coated + chamfered with wrist pins and rings. The kit ships with a Stage 1 performance camshaft, the 12mm Gorilla Girdle with ARP main studs, billet freeze plugs, coated H-series main and rod bearings, the Premium Killer Dowel Pin kit, new cam bearings, new Cummins oil cooler, new Cummins oil pump, new Cummins tappets, and the Cummins lower engine gasket kit.

This is a short block — no fuel or turbo components are included. Saves significant assembly labor over a completed long block while delivering the same parts quality and machine work.

  • Required: Joe Gibbs Break-In Oil (not included) for the first 300-500 miles after startup. All Industrial Injection short blocks and long blocks must be broken in on Joe Gibbs.
  • Core deposit applies — includes the engine block, crankshaft, connecting rods, camshaft, and builder box crate. Return the cores to recover the deposit.
  • This is a short block kit — fuel system, turbo, head, valvetrain, and intake/exhaust components are NOT included.
