The EFI-Live FlashScan V3; is a scan tool, data logger & calibration reader for select engine controllers, this GMC/Chevrolet tuning option will include calibration flashing to suit any GM application. You can use this device in either standalone mode (FlashScan V3 to vehicle connection), or in pass-through mode (PC/laptop to FlashScan V3 to vehicle connection).
You will need:
- PC or laptop capable of running Win7 or higher
- USB port
- Color screen with 1280x960 or greater resolution
- 1GB of available disk space
Features
- GM Tuning - tune supported GM Gas and Diesel controllers. Customers who purchase GM Tuning should also consider purchasing the following:
- FlashScan V3 Serial Cable to integrate with serial wide band O2 devices for GM Gas applications.
- WO2 Serial Adapter (Null Modem) Male required when connecting FlashScan's serial cable to supported wide band serial cables.
- FlashScan V3 Expansion Cable to connect a remote switch to FlashScan V3 that allows remote activation/deactivation of data logging.

Tuning
When you activate tuning the following additional features are available to you
- Security
- Prevent unauthorized reading, editing and flashing of custom tune files.
- Tune files are encrypted with EFILive proprietary routines.
- Use Locking options to prevent tune files from being read from the ECM/TCM.
- Licensing
- Multi-vehicle licensing.
- Each Tuning Option ships with 2 VIN licenses.
- Each VIN license supports one engine controller. Supported transmission controllers do not require a VIN license.
- Additional VIN licenses (up to 600) can be purchased.
- Tools
- Integrate your own tuning parameters.
- Command Line Interface (CLI) and gang programming automate processes and programs up to five devices simultaneously.
