Description

The 0986435518SE-IIS is a remanufactured stock-replacement injector for the 2007.5-2012 6.7L Cummins. When factory injectors start drifting — rough idle, balance-rate codes, white smoke, or visible weep at the injector body — this is the drop-in OEM-spec swap. Built in-house from genuine Bosch cores with brand-new Bosch nozzles, balanced to a tighter tolerance than factory, and tested on a Bosch OEM stand. Sold individually; most 6.7L trucks need a full set of six.

Every 0986435518SE-IIS starts as a genuine Bosch core. The core is fully disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with new Bosch internals — nozzles, valve sets, and hardware — not just refurbished old parts. The body is then balanced to a tighter flow tolerance than the original OEM spec, which is what produces the smoother idle and consistent balance-rate readings owners report after install.

Each finished injector is run on a factory Bosch OEM test stand through a 7-point validation: resistance check, system leak test, purge, idle-speed flow, mid-load flow, full-load flow, and static back leak. Solenoid response time, back-leak flow rate, and total fuel delivery are recorded on the build sheet before every injector leaves the line.

Notes

  • Replace the connecting tubes at the same time. The most common cause of new-injector failure on 6.7L Common Rail trucks is contamination from old connecting tubes — the seal surface inside the tube degrades and dumps debris into the new injector at startup. Industrial Injection refuses warranty claims on injectors installed with old tubes for this reason.
  • Plan on replacing the copper crush washer and O-rings (both included) — these are one-time-use parts.
  • Cores must be returned within 45 days for the $170 core charge to be refunded. Late returns forfeit the core deposit.
