This Max-Flow kit replaces the factory oil cooler on the 2001-2016 LB7/LLY/LBZ/LML Duramax with an oversized unit and improved internal fluid dynamics that make fuller use of the cooling plates for better heat rejection. If your oil temps are climbing or you want more cooling headroom under load, this is a bolt-on upgrade over the stock cooler.
