The Twister Muffler 51299/51600 by Flo-Pro is a universal muffler add-on for any 4 or 5" exhaust system. The Twister muffler uses a high-flow dual-path system to keep your exhaust quiet enough for the street but doesn't restrict the flow like your OE muffler would.
It's designed to meet most track requirements and works as a resonator on diesel applications. Flo-Pro has tested these vs open headers and has found an insignificant loss of power when adding the twister muffler system!

wonder if i can run this on my deleted isx15 cummins? i dont want it straight piped but i dont want a muffler either so i think this would be a good option?
It could be a solid choice for your goals, it's not a tradtional muffler, so it won't choke your exhaust flow. Often used to tame sound just enough without killing the aggressive tone.

First of all, this is my second order and both have shown up at my door in Alberta in 2 business days, thank you for that!
I read many reviews on Powerstrokes and Cummins trucks, and I am happy to report that this resonator performs beautifully on my 2015 LML Duramax that is deleted with a downpipe, uppipe, and 4" straight pipe exhaust already on it.
This resonator works extremely well, and I noticed it as soon as I started driving my truck up my farm laneway before even hitting highway speeds. It is as if I never deleted my truck now, the cab noise is at a minimum, very similar to stock. I am actually excited to tow my fifth wheel now and see how it sounds rather than being nervous about Tinnitus on long hauls. The resonator fit where an existing connector pipe was that came with my 4" Flo-Pro exhaust kit I also ordered from Dirty Diesel Customs, so installation was as easy as loosening 2 clamps and fitting this in. It is just in front of the rear axle and it seems to be a good location, I read other reviews saying to have closest to the downpipe for best performance. I will always order from you guys, shipping is extremely fast, and the prices are excellent from what I have noticed based on searching in AB and across Canada.
One last thing, my truck isn't driving any different from before I installed this, so I don't believe at this time that it is robbing my truck of any power or performance. Besides the EGR/DEF/DPF delete and tune, my truck has a S&B air intake system and that is it, and it drives smoothly with excellent response.

Still love the sound. This is my second install of this product. Still like how it sounds. Not super loud but still gives you that “there’s a diesel truck nearby” sound
I asked for a muffler that doesn't restrict all the work I've done but takes out the annoying 2200 rpm drone towing up a hill. It did just that. Also the tune files I bought for the truck and transmission are awesome
I have a 2016 Ram 2500 Cummins G56 had 5 inch straight out the back quite a bit of drone when towing our wonderful local police in local town in Quebec didn’t like the noise I added twister no more drone it took the snap out of it still sounds awesome great product
Bought the 5" to use on my new turbo back exhaust kit from p1 performance . With it being 18" I had to cut down the muffler delete pipe to extend it a bit but it fit right in. Sounds great and kills the cab drone.
I bought this for 17 powerstroke with 5” flopro straightpipe. I was experiencing major in cab drone at 1500rpm under load, the twister fixed the drone issue but definitely quieted the truck a lot hope this helps.
Installed on 18 cummins with 5 inch. Was easy to find a place to put it being so short. It lowered the sound a few octaves but not like an actual muffler. It got rid of the ear piercing crackle at high rpms. Now have it paired with the flow-pro 5x8x30 baffled muffler and its perfect. Rich and throaty
installed on 2017 6.7 powerstroke slightly more quiet at idle
no cab drone so far ( have yet to pull trailer with it on . muffles the scream ALOT ! can't hear the trans shifting in the exhaust which is what i was after 👍 doesn't really echo against walls anymore which is good for neighbour hoods . still get a very slight exhaust hum on highway not annoying at all though . all in all does as advertised would buy again .
Easy to install, made my 12v Cummins alot less barky. I can actually have a conversation without yelling now. Straight pipe usto drone so much I thought I'd get pulled over everywhere.
If you need a muffler this is the best way to go!

This spiral has been something i’ve Pondered for a while. When I seen it and needed to quiet my truck down because of the area I moved to.
Had to give it a try. It does take the bite of the 4” straight pipe Cummins away, havnt noticed performance change, also havnt pulled heavy or race this truck on the track, it’s been great. I would say though. It is not a muffler if you are going for stealth. Being honest. Fit up well and compact unlike many of the other options.
