2001-2010 Duramax Performance Billet Main Girdle & Stud Kit (DMAXGIRDLE-0110)

Duramax bottom ends are known for main cap movement, which gets worse as horsepower climbs and can lead to premature bearing wear or bottom end failure. This 1/2" billet steel girdle ties all the main caps together to the oil pan rail and includes the longer ARP hardware needed to lock everything down. It's cut with clearance for the oil pickup tube, so no modifications are required; recommended anytime you're into the 2001-2010 short block.

• ARP Main Stud Kit and Oil Pan Hardware Kit (1/2" longer to accommodate for girdle thickness)

• The two factory bolts from Flywheel/Flexplate Cover to Upper Oil Pan will not be used after installing this Billet Main Girdle. This will not cause any leaks or strength concerns.
• Machining may be required on main caps and/or girdle. This is recommended to be checked and performed by your engine machine shop.
• If you are using any aftermarket high capacity oil pan on your vehicle in conjunction with this girdle, it may cause interference with the factory crossmember.
