2011-2016 Duramax Performance Billet Main Girdle & Stud Kit (DMAXGIRDLE-1116)

Duramax main caps move under load on a stock bottom end, and it only gets worse as power climbs, leading to premature bearing wear or catastrophic failure. This 1/2" billet steel main girdle ties all the main caps together to the oil pan rail to eliminate that movement, and it ships with the longer ARP hardware needed for the extra support. Cutouts for the oil pickup tube mean no modifications, and it is a smart add anytime you are into the motor for a rebuild.

• ARP studs for proper fitment and additional strength
• Cross bolts help keep the main caps from causing catastrophic engine failure

• ARP Main Stud Kit and Oil Pan Hardware Kit (1/2" longer to accommodate for girdle thickness)

• The two factory bolts from Flywheel/Flexplate Cover to Upper Oil Pan will not be used after installing this Billet Main Girdle. This will not cause any leaks or strength concerns.
• Machining may be required on main caps and/or girdle. This is recommended to be checked and performed by your engine machine shop.
• If you are using any aftermarket high capacity oil pan on your vehicle in conjunction with this girdle, it may cause interference with the factory crossmember.
