The Banks Monster Exhaust is the only true 5″ DPF-back exhaust system for 2024-2026 Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 Duramax L5P trucks. Going from the factory 4" to a constant-diameter 5" from the DPF to the tailpipe gives 192% greater flow area and cuts exhaust backpressure by up to 85%. The patented Banks Exhaust Pressure Control Module recalibrates the DPF pressure sensor signal so the ECM sees correct delta-P while you breathe through a much larger pipe.
The system finishes with a patented 6.5" x 7.5" ob-round slash-cut tip in your choice of Chrome-plated stainless or high-temp Cerakote Black. Side-exit design directs exhaust away from your trailer during DPF regen and drops regen-temperature at the tip by 15%.

Don't Be Deceived

With the stock exhaust nozzle measuring 2.85-inch compared to the Monster Exhaust's massive 5-inch outlet, the Banks system offers a 192% greater flow area than stock. The Monster Exhaust boasts 85% less backpressure than stock, leading to more power and increased fuel economy.
Drop The Pressure

Banks negative back-pressure tip virtually eliminates back-pressure after the DPF. With a side-draft rocket nozzle-like tip, exhaust gases are literally sucked out of the end of the exhaust.
With pressure sensors installed, this negative exhaust pressure resulted in an impressive 9% reduction all the way back to the turbine inlet. No other exhaust for 2024+ Duramax trucks can provide this level of pressure reduction.
Drop That Heat

The Monster Exhaust also provides a 15% reduction in exhaust temperature two feet behind the tip during regen. The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) on the Duramax L5P is cleaned through regeneration, in which scorching exhaust gas temperatures can last up to 20 minutes while driving.
Unlike the stock Duramax exhaust, which directs a prolonged jet-like blast of super-heated exhaust gas directly at anything being towed, the Monster Exhaust is aimed out to the side of the truck. This allows ambient air to diffuse the heated gas, eliminating the risk of melting a trailer, which has been reported by many Duramax owners.
Change Your Look

Duramax owners can choose from two huge 6.5 x 7.5-inch ob-round slash-cut exhaust tips: chrome-plated polished stainless steel or high-temp Cerakote matte black. And, unlike other brands, the Banks Cerakote black or Chrome tip will not turn brown with heat.
