The ALPHA HD PRO S air spring suspension kit for 2021-2025 F-150 trucks prevents sag, sway, and bottoming out. It includes stainless steel hardware, jounce bumpers, and corrosion-resistant end caps with 20 support wires for durability. The internal polyurethane bumper protects against damage and allows driving without air when not towing, enhancing ride comfort and reliability. Options now available with or without an in-bag bump stop.

Why Pacbrake added a bump stop to their bags?

Peace of mind. Customers want a bump stop to prevent bottoming out from loss of air bag pressure, an extremely rare event that could damage the air bags or potentially the frame of the truck. Think of it as an "insurance policy" against bottoming out.

An additional benefit is that you can run these air bags at 0 psi when unloaded for superior ride comfort.

Are bump stops necessary?

No! For those that require max travel in their air bags, to raise and lower their rear end to pickup trailers or boats, or for those that take their trucks off-roading, air bags without bump stops are recommended. Consider the HP10402 ALPHA HD Pro air bag.
