2020-2024 Chevrolet / GMC Duramax 6.6L L5P Silverado / Sierra 2500HD/3500HD

The factory cold side intercooler pipe on the 2020-2024 L5P Duramax is a known weak point. Constructed from rubber, the OEM tube is prone to degrading over time due to heat and high boost pressures, which often leads to splits, leaks, and a loss of performance.

The HSP Diesel Cold Side Tube replaces that restrictive rubber setup with a 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminized steel pipe. This upgrade eliminates the risk of a burst factory hose while providing smoother airflow and increased durability. A CNC-machined billet aluminum coupler is included to replace the common failure point found in the OEM connection.

Part Number: HSP-D-605-2-HSP-W

Features

  • Mandrel-Bent Steel: The 3.5-inch aluminized steel construction offers far superior strength over the stock rubber tubing and improves engine sound.
  • Billet Coupler: CNC-machined aluminum coupler ensures a robust, secure connection to the intercooler.
  • Reinforced Boots: High-strength silicone boots and stainless T-bolt clamps provide a leak-free seal even under heavy towing and high boost conditions.
  • Direct Replacement: Engineered as a direct fit for GM Part Number 84682179.
  • Finish: Powder-coated in Polar White for a clean, custom look in the engine bay.
