The EGR is known to cause soot/carbon build-up in the intake ports, which results in reduced engine efficiency and potentially more exhaust smoke. This tune add-on cannot be paired with an emissions-off tune - It maintains the original EGR functionality, which is useful for quick engine warm-up. Once warmed up, the tune will reduce EGR to keep the intake ports clean for much longer. This is for off-road use only.
