Ask a Question-
Hey there, I’m looking to purchase a power package from you guys and I would like to add some more protection to my transmission. I have a 2016 Cummins with a 68RFE. I’m looking at purchasing the EZ-Lynk Tuning with the TCM tuning. With the transmission tuning I’m looking at one of the Protect68 kits. My question is one has a pressure control module and the other doesn’t. Does the TCM tuning that comes with the EZ-Lynk do the same job as the pressure control module in the Protect68 Kit? Varies pressures etc. depending on engine loads? Thanks for your help
Good Question! If you are purchasing TCM tuning, you do not need to add the controller to the Protect68 plate. The tuning will control the pressures instead of using an external module. The TCM tuning will work very similar to the module and vary the pressure depending on engine load/boost/RPM/etc.
