Take your 6.6L L5P Duramax's performance to the next level with AMDP’s specialized transmission tuning bundle. This package includes the HP Tuners MPVI4 device and custom calibration designed specifically for the Allison 10-speed and 6-speed units. By optimizing shift points and increasing line pressure, this tune ensures your Duramax delivers power to the ground efficiently while significantly reducing clutch slippage. Whether you're towing heavy or seeking a crisper street drive, this calibration delivers the reliability and refinement your heavy-duty drivetrain deserves.

*IMPORTANT: 2020–2023 models (T93 TCM) require an unlock before tuning. We recommend purchasing a pre-unlocked T93 TCM for the simplest installation. Alternatively, you can add the HP Tuners T93 Unlock Tool to your order to perform the unlock on-site without removing the TCM from the vehicle.

• Credits: Tuning the TCM requires 4 HP Tuners Universal Credits. 
• Available with or without HP Tuners Credits (Required if you have not previously licensed/flashed the TCM).
  
• Licensing the engine (ECM) does not cover the transmission (TCM). This tune requires its own credits even if your truck is already engine-tuned.
• 2017-2019 (T87A): Now supports direct OBDII flashing, no bench unlock or modified TCM required.
• Hardware Requirements: An HP Tuners MPVI4 or RTD device is required for 2020+ T93 support. (MPVI4 Included in this package)
  
• The HP Tuners VCM Suite 5.2 (or latest Beta) MUST be used for all L5P applications.

How it works

HP Tuners VCM Suite 5.2 or newer MUST be used. (Update before proceeding).

1. Install the latest version of the HP Tuners VCM Suite on your laptop.
2. Connect your MPVI4 device to the vehicle OBDII port and your laptop.
3. Read the TCM and email the stock file to tunes@dirtydieselcustoms.com with your Order Number.
4. You will receive your custom AMDP transmission tune file via email in 1-2 business days.
5. Open the custom tune file in VCM Editor and select WRITE.
