The stock setup on your 2017-2025 L5P Duramax is notorious for soot build-up in the intake tract. When the MAP sensor starts getting soot build-up you'll notice a drop in efficiency and responsiveness until you get in there and clean it off.
The S&B 82-1000 Spacer will significantly decrease the amount of soot buildup on your MAP sensor giving you one less thing to worry about.
